Data Concentrator Unit (DCU)

Data Concentrator Unit (DCU) is an intelligent system to collect and monitor power networks. DCU is designed for data integrating, smart metering and monitoring. DCU includes important features such as high reliability, high availability, and data recovery after disconnecting using backup systems, ability to repair during routine tasks, high security, data integrity and fast response time. In addition to mentioned advantages, network parameters control, smart meters monitoring, remote warning system, awareness of the latest situation, prevent of sending teams to different areas, reduced maintenance costs and also reduced costs related to staffing could be mention. DCU is a hardware / software system, designed by PITC group and it is fully able to support SCADA standards and protocols such as DLMS / COSEM, MODBUS, DNP3, IEC101 / 104 and MULTIDROP REGISTER.
